HASH joined the International Candlelight Memorial 2026 🕯️💛

HASH participated in the International Candlelight Memorial 2026, held in Quezon City on May 19, 2026, with the theme, “Kapit Bisig QC: Together in Remembrance, Care, and Hope,” at the Quezon City Meeting, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (M.I.C.E.) Center.

During the program, Eros De Vera, one of HASH’s CBS Motivators, emphasized the importance of being a supportive friend to people living with HIV (PLHIV):

“May we always remember that our friendship—even in the simplest ways—can help people living with HIV find hope and the courage to keep moving forward with their lives.”

Together with the Quezon City Health Department and the Quezon City Local Government Unit as program leads, along with our partners from Social Hygiene Clinics, community-based organizations (CBOs), and non-government organizations (NGOs), we came together to remember the lives we have lost, honor those living with HIV, and continue building a community where care is accessible to everyone.
